Introduction to Reiki

Reiki Level 1, also called the First Degree, is the foundational step into the practice of Reiki healing. This course is designed for anyone interested in energy healing, self-care, and spiritual growth. No prior experience is required—just an open mind and willingness to learn.

• History and Principles of Reiki

  • The origins of Reiki and the life of Mikao Usui, its founder

  • Understanding the Reiki precepts and how to apply them in daily life

• Energy Awareness

  • Introduction to the concept of universal life force energy

  • The human energy system (chakras and aura)

  • How Reiki flows through the body to promote balance and healing

• The Reiki Attunement

  • A sacred initiation process performed by the Reiki Master

  • Opens and aligns your energy channels to the Reiki frequency

  • Often experienced as a profound shift in energy and awareness

• Hand Positions & Techniques

  • Learning the standard hand positions for self-treatment

  • Practicing giving Reiki to others (friends, family, pets, plants)

  • Techniques for grounding, centering, and protection

• Self-Healing Practice

  • Daily self-Reiki routine for physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being

  • Using Reiki as a meditation and mindfulness tool

What to Expect

• A mix of lecture, discussion, demonstration, and hands-on practice

• Personal experiences of energy flow, relaxation, and release

• A supportive, safe learning environment to explore your own healing journey

Upon Completion

• You will be attuned to Reiki Level 1 and able to channel Reiki energy

• You will receive a Reiki Level 1 Certificate

• You will be equipped to practice Reiki for yourself and offer healing to loved ones

• You will have the foundation to continue onto Reiki Level 2 (Second Degree), where distance healing and advanced techniques are introduced
